CME iLink tags - May 6th 2011
iLink is the bidirectional order entry path by which client systems connect to and transact trading activity on the CME Globex platform. The CME have introduced new mandatory iLink tags.
The content of these tags is not currently mandated by the CME and note that, by default, Patsystems’ CME adaptor will populate these tags if empty.
Patsystems supports these tags in:
- Client Trading API version 6.3+
- FIXTGW version 7.0+

Deprecation Notification - April 2011
Patsystems plans to only support Client Trading API version 9.0 and above from January 2012, all earlier versions of the API will be deprecated.

New FIXTGW Version 7.0
Patsystems has released the latest version of our FIXTGW software which runs on an updated version of the Patsystems API (version 9.0). The new API incorporates java technology and is already integrated into our J-Trader and Pro-Mark Trading GUI’s. This new version of the API enables faster download times for the FIXTrading Gateway and enhanced reliability for high transaction loads.
Trading API Version 9.0 (Beta)
As per the release above, Patsystems intends to offer our latest version of the API to our existing Client Trading API Developers. The Client Trading API version 9.0 (Beta) is now available for testing and will go into full release in Q1 2011. From a development point of view, the new API incorporates the same messaging structures used in previous versions, so upgrading to version 9.0 will require little or no changes.
